MacSpec, Inc. is owned and operated by Carol Barber. Carol's experiences
include owning and operating her own business since 1977. Included in these
businesses were two Kwik-Kopy Printing franchises from 1977-1983, a graphic
art and design company from 1986-1987, DataSport LLC from 2000 to 2015
and MacSpec, Inc. from 1989 to present.
Since starting MacSpec,Inc in 1989, Carol has specialized in training on
Macintosh and PC systems in the area of graphics and design and FileMaker
Pro database development. In doing so, she provided the end user with
beginner to advanced training in a classroom or on-site environment. Some of
the software training included programs such as: FileMaker Pro,
Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office and
others.
As a FileMaker certified developer, Carol has analyzed the needs of many
large and small businesses and provided them with productive solutions for
their business.
With over 40 years in the printing and publishing industry, MacSpec, Inc.
also publishes a number of small town telephone directories, which included
the graphic design and layout production of the directories.
